Fig Tree Bay, the beaches around Green Bay and the short coast to Cape Greco define the resort. The bookable side is dominated by Blue Lagoon cruises, sea-cave trips, beginner diving and longer island day tours.
Many do leave from Protaras Pier, Pernera or Paralimni Marina, but some similarly named trips start in Ayia Napa. Read the meeting point rather than assuming every Cape Greco boat uses the same harbour.
No. Crews visit bays where turtles are often seen, but they are wild animals. Treat a sighting as a possibility, never as part of the ticket.
Larnaca Airport is roughly 45–55 minutes by road, Nicosia around 75 minutes and Paphos about two hours before tour stops. Troodos and west-coast days are long outings from Protaras.
It has no major archaeological park, mountain centre or large historic old town of its own. For Salamis, Kourion, Paphos, Nicosia or Troodos you are booking a road-heavy day trip, not a nearby attraction.
